PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powdery coating material for a highly bright-coated membrane capable of obtaining a coated membrane having a high designing property with a highly bright feeling, its method of production, a method for forming the highly bright-coated membrane and a method for forming a plural-layered coated membrane. ;SOLUTION: This coating material for the highly bright coated membrane is characterized by containing a glass flake pigment of which surface is coated with a metal and the other coated membrane-forming components becoming ≥60% total light transmittance and ≥40% parallel light transmittance on forming the coated membrane in (0.1/99.9)-(20/80) weight ratio, and its method of production. In addition, the method for forming the highly bright-coated membrane, which is characterized by applying the above powdery coating material for forming the highly bright-coated membrane on a material to be coated, is provided. Further, the method for forming the plural-layered coated membrane which is characterized by applying a first powdery coating material on the material to be coated to form a first layer, then applying the above powdery coating material for forming the highly bright coated membrane as a second powdery coating material to form the second layer and heating the above first and second layers simultaneously, is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
