PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete unit such as an indicating pile which indicates a boundary or a state of an embedded matter, and to provide a concrete unit and embedded indicator which can be supplied at a low price and can be adapted to various types of indication. SOLUTION: An embedded body 13 is provided to have an indicating surface 12a which is exposed on the surface of a concrete unit. An embedded indicator 10 made of resin is provided so that setting protrusions 30a and 30b protrude from the indicating surface 12a. The embedded indicator 10 can be set at a predetermined position merely by inserting the projection into a setting hole drilled in a molded frame. When the embedded indicator 10 is unmolded, the protrusions 30a and 30b are cut off and therefore the embedded indicator 10 is unmolded in the same manner as the concrete unit without an embedded matter. Since the embedded indicator 10 can be fitted to the same molded frame regardless of the content of indication, the concrete unit can be manufactured by using the same molded frame regardless of the content of indication, so that it can be provided at a low price.
