PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice reply remote control system and a voice reply remote controller that enable a user to easily confirm setting contents in voice. SOLUTION: A transmission section 14 transmits a remote control signal in response to entry by an entry section 11 of a remote controller 1. A reception section 21 of an indoor unit 2 receives the remote control signal from the transmission section 14 of the remote controller 1, and a control section 22 controls a main body of an indoor unit 2 with the received remote control signal. A remote control section 12 of the remote controller 1 selects the setting contents outputted in voice from a voice output section 24 of the indoor unit 2, a voice generating section 23 of the indoor unit 2 generates the voice denoting the selected setting contents based on the selected contents and a voice output section 24 outputs the voice.
