PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-strength wall for civil engineering which is simple and excellent in constructibility and appearance.;SOLUTION: A unit 1 of angle cross section and a reinforcing element 18 of T-shaped cross section are disposed on the tops of anchor bolts 27 and 27A buried in foundation concrete 14. Torque adjusters 25 and 25A such as turnbuckles to which preinstalled torque bars 21 and 21A and the anchor bolts 27 and 27A are connected for adjusting stresses are provided respectively in an opening 5 in the unit 1 and an opening 5A in the reinforcing element 18. The wall unit 1 is connected to the reinforcing element 18 by a connecting plate 19. They are piled up as a set if necessary and arranged in sequence in the cross direction of a face of slope 13 to construct a wall 15 of the desired scale. Because this construction method forms a trussed structure that is dynamically stable, the wall of high pressure resistance for civil engineering can be easily achieved.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
