TREATMENT METHOD OF JOINT IN SPIRAL-TYPE SLIP FORM CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance of a concrete wall and to prevent infiltration of water and salinity into a construction joint of the wall, by forming a groove having a predetermined width in the joint of the continuous spiral concrete wall, and thereafter back-filling and linearly repairing the groove.;SOLUTION: A slip form 17 is spirally moved while concrete 18 is placed therein, whereby a concrete wall 19 molded by using the slip form 17 is spirally extended. Thus, an annular wall body 13 is constructed. Then, a projective bar 20 having a predetermined width W continuously extending in a moving direction of the slip form 17 is formed on an internal surface of the slip form 17 so as to correspond to the construction joint 21 of upper and lower pieces of the concrete wall 19. When concrete is placed in the slip form 17 to mold the concrete wall 19, a concave groove 22 is formed along the construction joint 21 between the upper and lower pieces of the concrete wall 19 by the projective bar 20. Thereafter, a filler is filled in the concave groove 22, to thereby finish construction of the concrete wall.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
