PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, comprising a specific mixture and a specified sulfonic acid compound in a specific proportion, having solid feeling, excellent in designability, uniformity, film performance and corrosion resistance and useful as automotive bodies, etc. ;CONSTITUTION: The objective composition comprises 100 pts.wt. mixture composed of (A) 60-95 pts.wt. resin for powder coating which contains hydroxyl group and is a solid at ordinary temperature with (B) 5-40 pts.wt. tetraalkoxymethylglycoluril expressed by the formula (each group R is alkyl; 2 in the 4 groups R are methyl and the rest are 2-4C alkyl) which is a solid at ordinary temperature and (C) a sulfonic acid compound prepared by blocking with an amine compound having 80-250C boiling point and secondary or tertiary amino group in an amount of 0.1-3 pts.wt. expressed in terms of sulfonic acid. This composition is capable of forming a hexagonal irregular reticulate pattern 3 on the whole surface of a film 2 and dense unevennesses 4 in the inside thereof. Furthermore, this composition is applied onto a substrate, then baked and formed at 150-300C for 20sec to 60min to provide the film 2 having 20-200m thickness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
