PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gate locking device in a charge receipt system in which a mechanism is simplified and can be lightened and the impulse of a pole at a time when a car or the like collides with the pole is inhibited extremely and the pole and the car are not damaged.;SOLUTION: A pole holder 2 and a pole 1 are installed to a fixed base 4 in a rotatable and rockable manner, the pole 1 is brought to an approximately horizontal state when the passage of the car or the like is obstructed, and the pole 1 is rotated at 90° when the passage of the car or the like is permitted. The pole 1 is mounted rotatably on the pole holder 2 in the horizontal direction by a pin, and the pole 1 is turned in the horizontal direction when the car or the like collides with the pole 1 when a gate is closed. A slot is formed to a section, into which the pin is penetrated, and revolving torque in the horizontal direction of the pole 1 can be adjusted by controlling the clamping force of the pin by the slot by a screw.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
