PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig for construction capable of constructing a fireproof partition wall easily, securely, and efficiently and a method for constructing the fireproof partition wall using the jig for construction.;SOLUTION: This comblike jig for construction 1 is provided with a plurality of through-holes 21, 21,... in a side part 4 on a lower side of a channellike support member 2, and guide pipes 5, 5,... are provided around the through-holes 21, 21,.... Bar members 3, 3,... are inserted into the guide pipes 5, 5,... so as to advance and retract freely. An expanded part 9 at an upper end of the bar member 3 is locked in the guide pipe 5 to prevent its coming off. When the comblike jig for construction 1 is inserted into a narrow space between a pipe on a rear side of a ceiling and a ceiling slab in the horizontal direction and is arranged vertically, the bar members lower to form a core part or a pattern like longitudinal lattice in the space.
