METHOD FOR JUDGING ACCEPTANCE/REJECTION OF HOT FORGED PARTS AND COLD WORKED PARTS, AND ITS APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the visual checking by a worker by providing a method and an apparatus for automatically judging a hot forged parts and a cold worked parts with high accuracy. ;SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises an exciting winding 2-l to form a hollow inspection space and a detection winding 2-2, a drive source 1 to supply the high frequency current to the exciting winding 2-1, a carrying means to pass a work in the inspection space, a discrimination unit 3 to specify the coordinate position corresponding to the inspection output based on the amplitude of the inspection output obtained from the detection winding 2-2 and the phase difference between the inspection output and the reference output, and a judgment unit 4 to judge acceptance/rejection of the work based on the coordinate position at the reference point of judgment among the coordinate position moved in an interlocking manner with the action of the reference point of judgment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
