PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peelable monosheet color proofing structure capable of forming a negative picture image by exposure to an infrared laser and development by peeling. ;SOLUTION: A photographic negative-type thermally imageable material for imaging by an infrared laser includes a substantially transparent base material, an infrared radiation responsive crosslinking thermal transfer layer containing a substantially uniform mixture of carbon black and a crosslinked polymer formed on the surface of the base material, a coloring layer containing a substantially uniform mixture of an organic binder and a colorant formed on the crosslinking transfer layer and a thermoplastic adhesive layer formed on the coloring layer. A method for forming a negative picture image using the described material and a method for manufacturing the photographic negative-type thermally imageable material are provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
