ELECTRONIC REGISTER, PRODUCT SUITED TO ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION, AND METHOD OF REGISTERING PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for enabling the automatic registration of a product. ;SOLUTION: The electronic register 105 is provided with a memory 109 suited for storing client specification information and product specification information. This device is also provided with a interrogator unit 109 suited for prompting the product specification information to a product 107 and sending the received product specification information to the memory. Besides, this device is provided with a producer signaling unit 113 suited for outputting a communication signal to a producer. The communication signal contains the client specification information and the product specification information. For special example, the electronic register is a cordless telephone set, the interrogator is located inside the handset of the cordless telephone set and the producer signaling unit is located inside the base unit of the cordless telephone set. In the other execution style, the product is suited for electronic registration. This product is provided with a memory suited for storing the product specification information and a question/answer unit 115 suited for answering a question by communication the product specification information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
