PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FRP panel for manufacturing at a low cost a panel assembling type tank of good corrosion resistance. ;SOLUTION: An FRP panel 1 used for a panel assembling type tank is provided with folding sections 2a on the peripheral edges of a panel main body 2, and a coated layer 2b is formed on a surface layer forming the inner face side of the tank. The coated layer 2b is formed by integrally forming a glass film on the surface layer of the panel main body 2. The panel main body 2 is formed of a press molded SMC in which a conventional unsaturated polyester resin is used as a matrix resin. The coated layer 2b formed of the glass film has superior resistance to chemicals, resistance to water and gas barrier properties and is optimum for improving the corrosion-resistant capability.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
