PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blue emission phosphor material having high luminescence and excellent in color purity, which is conventionally not known.;SOLUTION: This blue emission phosphor material is constructed by using a layer consisting of an aluminate-based blue emission phosphor material expressed by the composition formula, MAlyS4-xOx: RE (wherein, M is an alkaline earth element selected from a group consisting of Ba, Ca and Sr, or Zn; RE is a rear earth element; (x) is a real number in the range of 0.5≤x≤3.5; and (y) is a real number in the range of 1.5≤y≤2.5), as an emission layer of a thin film electroluminescence(TEEL) element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
