Water turbine runner wear measurement system

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an automatic measuring device for the hydraulic wheel runner wear amount which can always monitor the gap between each runner and a lower cover while the runners are in motions, and can predict the liner replacement timing and the inspection timing for the runners. CONSTITUTION:On the inside of thelower cover 5 of a hydraulic wheel, a plurality of gap sensors 1-1 thru 1-4 are furnished which are to measure contactlessly the gap between each runner 3 and liners 4a, 4b of the lower cover 5. The arrangemment includes mean gap calculating means 2-1 thru 2-4, 2-7 thru 2-10, 2-5, which calculate the mean gap from the output signals of the gap sensors, and a display means 2-6 which displays the mean gap value given by these mean gap calculating means, and thereby the mean gap value of the gap between the runners and lower cover 5 is displayed while the runners are in motions.
