PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of reducing the level of noise generated by washing with a siphon-jet water closet and of fully enhancing its washing ability.;SOLUTION: The siphon-jet water closet 10 is capable of reducing the noise level of the sound generated as a result of washing under the condition when H2H1 where the minimum distance is H2 when the washing is started at the distance of H1 before washing at the distance from the bottom end 20a provided between the ball surface 18 and the siphon passage 21 to the water storing surface 17a.
