PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting adaptor and construction method for self- boring rock bolt allowing easy removal of a self-boring rock bolt from the adaptor even if the end surface of the self-boring rock bolt is sagged or inclined.;SOLUTION: This connecting adaptor 3 for connecting a boring machine 1 to the self-boring rock bolt 2 having male threads at least at both base parts is divided into a first adaptor 30 having a part to make contact with the end part 2b of the self-boring rock bolt 2 and a second adaptor 31 having a female thread for retaining the male thread 2c of the base part of the self-boring rock bolt 2. The first adaptor 30 has a part 20a1 to be connected to the boring machine 1 at one end part 30a and a screw part 30b1 to be screwed to the second adaptor 31 and a part 30b2 to make contact with the end part 2b of the self-boring rock bolt 2, which consists of a recessed hole having a diameter larger than the outer diameter of the male thread of the base part of the self- boring rock bolt 2, at the other end part 30b.
