PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling the posture of an auxiliary reaping blade device in a combine harvester capable of reaping and threshing rice, wheat, soybeans, or the like, over the whole width of the combine harvester in the front of a travel frame 3, which can prevent the collision of the auxiliary reaping blade device 7 with a peripheral article such as a ridge, even when the travel frame 3 is turned on the reaping work of the combine harvester at a place near to the ridge of the field.;SOLUTION: This control device 25 for controlling the vertical movements of the auxiliary reaping blade device 7 is provided with a turn-detecting switch 27 for detecting whether the travel frame 3 exceeds a prescribed turn steering angle. When it is detected with the turn detection switch 27 that the direction of the travel flame 3 is changed at a lager angle than a prescribed turn steering angle, a hydraulic cylinder 24 is driven so that the posture of the auxiliary reaping blade device 7 is changed into a stored posture for preventing contact with grains, or the like.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
