Discharge device for water-cooled and crushed steel slag

PURPOSE:To improve discharge efficiency of steel making slag by loading a slag box housing the stag granulated by water cooling therein on a travelling carrier, carrying the carrier to a chute, inclining the slag box to a slag-receiving inlet and carrying the slag from a slag outlet. CONSTITUTION:A slag box 2 housing stag 1 granulated by water cooling of solidified high-temperature steel making slag therein is loaded on a carrier 3 and the carrier 3 is travelled on rails 4 from a pressure container and stopped at a position of chute 5 for slag discharge. A turning and expanding and contracting mechanism of an arm 6A of an inclining apparatus 6 is operated and the top of the arm 6A is advanced to the carrier 3 and engaged with both ends of the slag box 2. Then, the arm 6A is operated so as to draw the engaging part of the slag box 2 and the slag box 2 is rotated around the inclining and rotating shaft of a support fixed onto the carrier 3 and the housed slag 1 is discharged onto a receiving inlet (grizzly) of the chute 5. The slag 1 passed through the receiving inlet 5A and having =100mm particle diameter is dropped into the chute 5 and discharged from a delivery outlet 5B of the lower end of the chute 5 onto a bent conveyer 7 and transferred to the following step.
