PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication control unit, with which data communication can be smoothly performed between each of terminal equipment without generating unwanted traffic on a communication line when exchanging data and audio data generated by an application between each of terminal equipment through the low speed communication line. ;SOLUTION: The data communication control unit is integrated in a game system capable of exchanging game data and the audio data of a user in real time between respective video game devices 1 through a communication line 6 and corresponding to the set priority, a transmitting data priority control part 15 reads data out of a correspondent buffer between a game data transmitting buffer 13 and an audio data transmitting buffer 14 and sends them out. The data are sent to a LAN 5 so as not to exceed a throughput value, with which the amount of data to be sent onto the communication line 6 is set by a line I/F part 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
