SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CALLING '110' AGAIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for calling '110' again when a common line and an individual line are connected tandem. ;SOLUTION: When an ODT receives a hooking signal from an incoming side exchange (S1), the state of ODT memory in the memory of a tandem switch is read out (S2). A CPU watches the state of a DTI memory and investigates whether '110' is connected or not (S3) and when a DTI and the ODI are connected to '110' (YES in S3), the trunk number and route number of the DTI connected to '110' are confirmed (S4). The CPU instructs the output of a FACIL ITY signal from the DTI trunk to the original route (S5). The FACILITY signal is sent from the DTI to an outgoing side exchange (S6).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
