PURPOSE:To prevent a trouble beforehand by detecting the anomaly in the forecast stage even if the time from the generation of anomally to the generation of the trouble is short. CONSTITUTION:A preventive maintenance system for the transformation equipment equipped with a monitoring means 2 for automatically monitoring the operation state of the transformation equipment on the basis of the monitoring data of the sensors 1a-1n installed on the transformation equipment, e.g. gas insulation equipment 5 is equipped with a data base 3 related to the trouble of the already installed transformation equipment and a monitoring interval setting means 4 for setting the monitoring interval of the monitoring means 2 on the basis of the data base 3. Accordingly, the monitoring interval can be previously set short, in the case where the trouble generation rate is high, or the time from the generation of anomaly to the generation of trouble is short.
