PURPOSE: To obtain a filter module for facilitating the construction of a particulate trap which can dispose of the exhaust gas treatment of a large-sized diesel engine having a variety of capacity and the compact particulate trap in which the filter module is assembled. ;CONSTITUTION: The surfaces of a plurality of filter blocks 1 where no opened port is formed are abutted, and the surface other than that on which a dust containing gas flow passage 4 is opened is covered by a cover frame 6, and an outlet flow passage 10 surrounded by a cover 7, clean gas flow passage 3, and a sealing member 2 is formed, and an effluence port 12 is formed on a cover 11 at one edge.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
