Spacer null for fundamental gasket

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer that is capable of filling simply a gap produced between a foundation packing and a groundsill on occasion of constructing a structure. ;SOLUTION: The present spacer 10 is a plate-like matter and composed of bodies divided into two pieces of right and left. Each piece of the spacer 10 has claws 13 capable of projecting toward the downside and retracting because of their elasticity, and the claws 13 are being projected when the spacer is in the state of setting, and being engaged with a narrow groove 5 of a foundation packing 3, preventing the spacer 10 from moving toward the direction of extraction. Projecting pieces 15 provided at the side edge of the spacer 10 are engaged with notches 8 of the foundation packing 3, preventing the spacer 10 from moving in the longitudinal direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
