PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an indirect heating combustion type continuous rotary kiln, having a large capacity is not suitable for a temperature exceeding 1,100°C or that a treatment object matter emitting a corrosive gas corroding a heat resisting steel. ;SOLUTION: In a known direct combustion type rotary kiln structure, an outside is made of a cylindrical steel sheet and a hard refractory castable and a refractory heat-insulating castable are constructed in the inside and the outside, respectively. A plurality of holes are formed in the hard refractory castable, and ceramic pipes are inserted in the holes. Combustion gas from a combustion chamber is introduced to an exhaust hood through the ceramic pipes and exits to a combustion exhaust gas opening.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
