PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiaxial plane mechanism for a patient positioning platform having three independent degrees of freedom. ;SOLUTION: One mode comprises a patient table 202, a first actuator drive part 206 the first end of which is connected to the patient table and the second end of which is connected to a base part 204, a second actuator drive part 210 the first end of which is connected to the patient table and the second end of which is connected to the base part 204, and a third actuator drive part 220 the first end of which is connected to the first actuator drive apart and the second end of which is connected to the base part 204.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
