The producing member is bonded to one face or both faces of the thermoplastic film by way of the adhesive layer, the thermoplastic film is stretched or shrunk in at least one of longitudinal and horizontal directions under the action of the shrinking power of the producing member by heating and the producing member is peeled to produce the objective phase-contrast plate.
