ON-SITE CHEMICAL WASH METHOD FOR MEMBRANE FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-site chemical wash method for a membrane filter by which the membrane filter can be washed using a chemical on site. ;SOLUTION: A chemical tank 11 for acid wash and its rinsing tank 12 and a chemical tank for alkali wash and its rinsing tank are permanently installed near the membrane filter 1. Further, a pump unit 17 dedicated to acid and a pump unit dedicated to alkali are permanently installed together with connecting hoses 21, 22, 23 dedicated to the acid or the alkali. During washing, the membrane filter 1 and the chemical tank are connected together and a chemical is circulated into the membrane filter 1 by the help of either of the pump units, and rinsing water from the rinsing tank for either of the chemicals is used for rinsing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
