PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device with an image pickup function that can pick up an object as soon as its image is displayed without deviating a sight line of the object viewing a displayed image.;SOLUTION: A display device with an image pickup function consists of a display section that has a display screen to draw an image, a pin-hole section that is formed on the display screen, and an image pickup section that uses an optical path formed by the pin-hole section as a sight line. While displaying an image on the screen, the display device can photograph the image of a user viewing the display screen through the pin-hole section. In the case of applying the display device to 2-way communication such as a video conference, since crossing of the sight line of the user with that of a communication opposite party is less, the user can realize a natural conversation with the opposite party.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
