PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely perform the relating of a tunnel direction position and an acquiring image by imaging a tunnel adit wall in the circumferential direction in a process pipe-jacking a boring head by a thrust jack by an image pick-up device provided on a tunnel boring machine, and combining the pick-up images in each position in a tunnel direction.;SOLUTION: An adit wall appearing immediately after a roof 1B accompanying the pipe jacking of a tunnel boring head 1 by a thrust jack is imaged in the circumferential direction of a tunnel by an image pick-up device 10 provided on a tunnel boring machine, and taken in a computer 15 provided in a cab 17. A pipe jacking position signal from a thrust jack pipe jacking position detector 11 is taken in the computer 15 through an operation instrument 16. The relating of the tunnel direction position and the acquiring image is exactly performed by combining the existing position of their tunnel boring machine and the image pick-up signal of a tunnel adit wall.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
