The subject gene encoding the protein described in (a) or (b) below: (a) a protein composed of a specific amino acid sequence and having glutathione-S-transferase(GST) activity or (b) a protein composed of an amino acid sequence where one or several amino acids are deleted, substituted or added to the amino acid sequence in (a) and having GST activity, 2. a vector containing the GST gene described in 1. and intended for transfer into plant, 3. a recombinant protein from the protein described in (a) or (b), and 4. a method for creating GST gene-transferred Oryza sativa comprising culturing on a solid medium dividing cells of the germ layer callus of Oryza sativa transferred with the vector described in 2. and the resultant GST gene-transferred Oryza sativa, are provided respectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
