METHOD FOR BIOLOGICALLY ASSAYING PATHOGENIC MICROBE TO MARINE CRUSTACEAN AND METHOD FOR PRESERVING THE SAME, BY USING ANIMAL INHABITING IN FRESH WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of using an alternative animal for biologically assaying pathogenic microbes to a marine crustacean and for preserving the microbes. SOLUTION: The low-cost and easy bioassay of the pathogenic microbes to the marine crustacean, especially pathogenic viruses to the marine crustacean, and the preservation of the pathogenic factor are realized by using the animal inhabiting in fresh water, such as an American crawfish which can be bred easily and at a low cost, without using the marine crustacean requiring high-cost breeding environment and high-degree breeding technique to carry out the bioassay of the pathogenic microbes to the marine crustacean and the preservation thereof.
