PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixer for asphalt mixture mixing capable of suppressing the wear of a wear prevention cover mounted on a mixing shaft and reducing a maintenance cost. ;SOLUTION: A substantially cylindrical wear prevention cover 5 is mounted on mixing shafts 2, 2' penetrating a mixing tank 1, and a plurality of projection bodies 6 are fixed on the outer peripheral face of the wear prevention cover 5 along the axial direction of the mixing shafts 2, 2' at a prescribed interval. A mixing material having adhesion is adhered in a recess between the adjacent projection bodies 6, and a wear prevention layer by the mixing material of prescribed thickness is formed on the whole surface of the wear prevention cover.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
