PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation system for a compound term which generates no synonym even when a compound term is newly generated by arraying word names having gained general currency in object operation of software development. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with an input means 10 which inputs a word name representing a thing, a word dictionary storage means 31 which stores the word name, the regular name corresponding to the word name, and relation information showing the meaning relation between the word name and regular word name, a relative regular word name extracting means 20 which extracts the regular word name having the meaning relation with the word name if the word name is not registered as the regular word name in the word dictionary storage means, and a compound term generating means 20 which generates a compound term by arraying plural regular word names extracted by the relative regular word name extracting means.
