PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an item content managing method for electronic commerce between companies through standardized item codes as a medium. SOLUTION: This item content managing method for electronic commerce between companies includes a step for registering standard items in a central storage box, a step for giving item identification codes to the standard items and registering standard item codes in the central storage box, a step for registering item contents of companies in the central by the companies, and a step for connecting the item codes of the companies by the standard item codes stored in the central storage box as a medium; and the whole classification system of items and services is classified by categories and subdivided to set a multistage classification system. Upper steps are classified by more than one changeable structure so that the classification system can be changed at any time and lower steps are classified by three stages of standard items, standard item codes, and company item codes to make the electronic commerce between companies active in the shortest period.
