PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a circuit scale, concerning serial-data transmission equipment of a phased-array antenna which transmits serial data including phase control signals with respect to all radiation elements.;SOLUTION: A plurality of radiation elements that a phased-array antenna possesses are effected to make correspondence, a plurality of module antennas 12 are set. The phase arithmetic circuit 24 is set to feed data that should be fed to each of such modules 12, using the serial data. Then the select signals of the modules 12 that should store serial data which are being transmitted are sequentially generated, and the select-signal generation circuit 32 that feeds the signals to the entire modules is set. In each module 12, the gate circuit 30 that identifies it own select signals that are assigned to itself and the shift register 16, that stores the serial data when the former identifiers the select signals are arranged.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
