PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a rolled sheet which reduces a rupture of a bridge during manufacturing an expand grid, and has an excellent mechanical strength. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method for a lead alloy rolled sheet, a quenching process in vapor phase is conducted after a rolling process, and the quenched state is maintained for a constant time. Preferably, the quenching process is conducted at a speed of 5 deg.C/min or more, and the temperature of the lead alloy rolled sheet is maintained at 10 deg.C or less for 1 hour or more. Quenching after rolling increases the mechanical strength of the lead alloy rolled sheet after hardened. The quenching without using water prevents the sheet surface from being oxidized. Maintaining the cooled state after quenching increases stability in machining.
