PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera and mobile phone integrated composite terminal device that can avoid a state in which image data with high resolution are sent unlimitedly to a destination composite terminal device and data communication takes a long time resulting in the increase in the charge. ;SOLUTION: In an image transmission mode, the composite terminal does not permit transmission of a selected image when the resolution of the selected image exceeds a predetermined limit resolution. Thus, a state that image data with a high capacity taking much time for the communication are unlimitedly transmitted to a destination composite terminal device is not caused. However, by varying the limit resolution in accordance with a resolution of a display device of the destination composite terminal device, flexibility can be provided to a range of the resolution of image data that can be transmitted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
