PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy material for friction pressure welding capable of realizing sound friction-welding of the members and moreover good mechanical properties of the friction-welded zone at the time of pressure welding an aluminum alloy material and another aluminum alloy material or steel, and to provide a friction welding material and a friction welding method.;SOLUTION: The stock has a proof stress of 280 to 360 MPa and an electric conductivity of ≤50%IACS. Moreover the stock preferably has a composition containing, by mass, 0.8 to 1.0% Si and 0.5 to 0.8% Mg, containing, by mass, at least one element selected from the group consisting of 0.2 to 0.6% Cu, 0.2 to 0.4% Mn, ≤0.2% Cr, ≤0.1% Ti and 0.05 to 2.0% Zr and the balance Al with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
