OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE OF TOILET COVER AND TOILET SEAT OF WASTERN STYLE TOILET STOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of a western style toilet stool and to attain barrier free by realizing opening/closing operation of a toilet cover and a toilet seat by either a hand or a foot. ;SOLUTION: A step pedal 13 and an operation switch 15 for selecting the automatic opening/closing operation of a toilet cover 52 and a toilet seat 53 are arranged as input members, and the pedal 13, the cover 52 and the seat 53 are respectively connected with a toilet cover driving shaft 16 and a toilet seat driving shaft 17. Further, an electromagnetic clutch 28 is mounted between the shaft 16 and the shaft 17, and a motor 21 to be controlled by an operation switch 15 is fixed at the shaft 16. As output members, a toilet cover arm 36 rocking with the toilet cover is fixed to the shaft 16 and a toilet seat arm 37 rocking with the seat 53 is fixed to the shaft 17.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
