MULTILAYERED CO-EXTRUSION BIAXIALLY STRETCHED HIGH BARRIER PLASTIC CASING LOWERED IN ADHESIVENESS TO CONTENT, AND USE THEREOF AS FOOD CASING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food casing satisfying necessary conditions related to excellent stream and oxygen barrier properties and showing only slight adhesiveness to content containing fat and protein on the inside thereof. SOLUTION: A multilayered co-extrusion tubular biaxially stretched casing used as a food casing consists of (a) an outer layer A containing a polyamide or a mixture of two or more kinds of polyamides as a main component, (b) a layer B showing oxygen barrier properties, (c) a core layer C containing a polyamide or a mixture of two or more kinds of polyamides as a main component, (d) a layer (D) functioning as coupling layer with respect to the layer provided on the layer D and a layer E and containing at least one kind of a modified polyolefin and (e) an inner stream barrier layer E not almost developing the adhesiveness to content and containing a polyolefin homo- or co-polymer or a blend of them as a main component and characterized by that the component having the lowest melting point has an melting point of at least 136 deg.C.
