PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photograph finish system/method into which digital technology for managing a work flow in a photograph finish work section or a network is incorporated. ;SOLUTION: Photograph finish system/method are provided with a plurality of output devices 29 adapted to generate different output picture products, a plurality of input devices 25 for obtaining the pictures of different systems and a CPU 27 for generating a virtual batch of the obtained pictures and transmitting it to the output devices. The virtual batch is generated on the basis of time required for completing the picture product so that the input devices 25 convert all the obtained pictures into a common digital format and the completed sequence of the output picture products which realizes the efficient use of the output devices 29 is compiled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
