PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stone hangup machine hanging up natural stones (boulders) simply, moving them safely and quickly to the specified working place, and performing the installing works. ;SOLUTION: Natural stones (boulders) have a reference diameter of 350±100 mm, and when an external force equivalent to the deadweight of each of natural stones having a mean diameter of 400 mm to its part 200 mm away from the center of gravity of the stone (the part with a fixing pin), a moment expressed by the deadweight of the stone multiplied by 200 mm (distance from the center of gravity to the fulcrum) is generated, and the reaction force given thereby and the deadweight are concentrated on fixing pin 8 at one point, and hanging-up can be made on the principle of three- point supporting stability while a balance is established between the reaction force to the deadweight and moment and the load due to external force. The limits of diameter to allow hanging-up are 250 mm as minimum and 600 mm as maximum. Object greater than that may be hung up by enlarging and reinforcing the belonging members. The reaction force for hanging-up becomes greater in proportion to the deadweight of natural stones, and it is possible to keep the stability and hangup ability constant at all times.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
