PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that conventionally, when lightweight concrete is produced, reduction in slump value after placing of the lightweight concrete is remarkable and variation in specific gravity is wide and therefore long-distance transportation of the lightweight concrete is difficult to perform and also, the placing of such lightweight concrete in a form having a large cross-section or complex shape or dense reinforcing bar arrangement, the execution of which requires a long period of time, is impossible and a cold joint is liable to be formed and further, when plastering work is executed, although once an appropriate slump value can be obtained, immediately thereafter, the slump value is steeply reduced and the plastering finish work of most of the area to be worked becomes difficult to perform and moreover, reduction in strength is also caused. ;SOLUTION: This production process of lightweight concrete comprises agitating high-early-strength portland cement, water, lightweight aggregate in absolute dry condition, an organic material such as acrylic resin, a water reducing agent, etc., together by a mixer, to obtain a mix, i.e., this high strength lightweight hydraulic mix; and placing the mix in a form having a desired shape to produce the objective lightweight concrete.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
