PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confirming method of the bearing capacity and bearing layer of a percussion pile in which no pile is damaged and safety is ensured and measurement is carried out accurately. ;SOLUTION: In a method in which bearing capacity or a bearing layer in the case when a pile is percussed and borne into a ground is confirmed, the bearing capacity and bearing-layer confirming method of the percussion pile in which the percussion sound of the pile is collected, the frequency components of the percussion sound of the pile are analyzed, the sound-pressure levels of each frequency component are obtained, and the presence of bearing power and the bearing layer is confirmed by the presence of the change of the frequency components displaying an eminent sound-pressure level in the sound- pressure levels, is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
