PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable early discovery and early extinguishment to fires in large spaces of large facilities.;SOLUTION: The local fire extinguishing device which extinguishes the fires by locally spraying an extinguishing agent to the fires is provided with ejection sections 12 for the extinguishing agent on a floor side or at moldings, such as buildings, to efficiently spray the extinguishing agent only to the fire site without being hindered by the obstructions, such as the roofs of the buildings. The fire extinguishing device for the large facilities for extinguishing the fires by spraying the extinguishing agent to the fires which break out in the facilities are provided with the ejection sections 12 on the floor side or the moldings installed on the floor side. As a result, the efficient spraying of the extinguishing agent only to the fire site is made possible. The fire extinguishing system for the large facilities has the ejection sections 12, an extinguishing agent supplying system 13 for supplying the extinguishing agent to the respective ejection sections 12, fire detecting sensors 14 and a control section 15 for ejecting the extinguishing agent from the ejection sections 12 near the fire.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
