PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic pressure regulator for fire protection hoses which does not give rise to hindrance in water feeding force and eliminates the possibility of rupturing the fire protection hoses even if the fire protection hoses are compressed from the outside during the supply of water to the fire protection hoses in fire extinguishing activity.;SOLUTION: This automatic pressure regulator for the fire protection hoses is constituted by communicating and opening the front and rear of a blind water escape pipe 5 to the lateral side of the water feed pipe 2 screwed at the front and rear between the joints of the first fire protection hose 1 and the second fire protection hose 3 and has a means for releasing the backflow water to the outside by closing the rear side aperture of the water feed pipe 2 and bypassing and admitting the backflow water toward the blind water escape pipe 5 at the external pressure of the fire protection hoses.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
