METHOD FOR PREVENTING REPRODUCTION DISORDER OF COW AND FEED COMPOSITION USED FOR THE ABOVE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing a reproduction disorder of cows, since in recent years, a conception by one time artificial insemination becomes less in a highly secreting milking cow fed with a concentrated feed and it becomes an important problem to improve the conception rate by reducing the period from delivery to conception, i.e., to prevent the reproduction disorder, and a feed composition used for the above method. SOLUTION: This method for preventing the reproduction disorder of cows is to feed astaxanthin to cows after delivery. It is preferable to feed astaxanthin which is rumen bypass-treated by covering it with a fatty acid salt, by 10-200 mg as a daily dose.
