GREENING OF WATERSIDE WITH PLANT OF EQUISETACEAE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method of waterside with a plant belonging to Equisetaceae and restoring natural vegetation and so natural landscape by sowing and growing saplings of the plant at specified sites. SOLUTION: This method comprises sowing and growing saplings of a plant belonging to Equisetaceae in a state of an underground stem or an underground stem having epigeal stems at waterside slopes or bottoms wherein the slopes or bottoms are intermittently submerged. The plant belonging to Equisetaceae can be Equisetum fluviatile L. or Equisetum palustre L. and the slopes and bottoms intermittently submerged can be those of dam lakes where bare fields are appeared. By this method, holes for plantation are unneeded and also stakes for preventing washout in an attaching method are unneeded and so even a wide area can be treated in a short time.
