PURPOSE:To provide a method for disposal and an effective use of the surplus soil in a construction site produced by an excavation for construction work or tunneling work. CONSTITUTION:In a method for an effective use of the surplus soil in a construction site wherein the surplus soil is mixed with cement type stabilizer, the resulting mixture is pressed and dehydrated into the form of a cake and this cake is crushed and classified for an effective use, the particles of the cake produced at the crushing and classifying stage are returned to the kneading or mixing process for reuse. Since this method does not require any cake particle to be discarded, an effective use of crushed stone, etc., is increased by that part, the labor and expenses arising therefrom can be saved and the time required for high pressure dehydration can considerably be shortened by the reuse of the cake particles, resulting in an economical use of the construction materials and a considerable improvement of the production efficiency.
