PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive heat exchange element for gas versus gas, and a heat exchange segment which is satisfactory in productivity, strength, etc., being suitable for its formation. ;SOLUTION: A heat exchange element 5 for gas versus gas is made, into a structure such that the same type of heat exchange segments are stacked, and besides one gas passage 4a and the other gas passage 4b made in the direction orthogonal to it are supplied with gas to perform heat exchange.
